Kashmiri Pandit's Re-settlement in Kashmir  Now  a Distant Dream !

Kashmiri Pandits who mostly suffered the brunt of forceful Migration in 1990 under a well thought out machinations and plan at the hands of Pakistani Sponsored Terrosim and communal canard created in entire kashmiri valley by anti  National elements  as well as by  Pakistani Stooges who wanted to make entire Jammu and Kashmir a part of Pakistan and ultimatley their entire exercise proved futile and a big fallop show. All the winds were thrown to so called brotherhood, communal harmony and Kashmiryat for which Kashmir was known and recognised globally and in a short span of  time during 1990, a micro minority community of  Five lakhs kashmiri Pandits became the victim of this communal canard and Terrorism with massive target killing of their top religious, social and political leaders including atrocities on innocent women and men and total confusion, choas, fear physocosis  and threats were created for this micro minority community of Kashmir whose history in kashmir dates back to more than five thousand years. 

Therefore under a well thought out game  plan, they were forced to leave their homes and hearths leaving behind every thing including movable and immovable properties  worth crores just to save their lives from terrorists,  anti Indian brigade, uncertain  atmosphere of fear  and communal canard created for all minorities  with threats and death letters. They therefore had to leave  forcefully from their homes to take shelter at safer place. They  migrated   in  big  mental trauma and   took ashylum  in temporary tents/camps at Udhampur, Jammu and other parts of country in a state of fear and terror.

Kashmiri pandits will never ever forget the wounds of their complete wipe out from the valley by islamic fundamentalists  who were hand in glove with Pakistan sponsored Terrorists and wanted to liberate kashmir from India but all in vain. The painful tale of this displaced community will be remembred in the history for decades to come that how an ancient civilization of five thousand years was forced to leave their homes at a gun point and wiped out completly  leaving behind thousand of questions marks on  kashmiriyat, secularism, communal harmony and brotherhood  for which  Kashmir was known and famous  around the globe.

It is pertinent to say that in  these  thirty four years of  bloodshed, lakhs  of precious lives were lost but it is a history that this  community suffered the most physically, mentally, financially as well bore a  harsh  brunt of this migration , terroism and communal canard. The Displaced community of Kashmiri Pandits who not only lost  their ancestral homes and hearths but also lost their immovable properties which was simultaneously illegally grabbed, encroached and dismantled by anti social elements, top politicians and bureucrats in the system under the guise of Jammu and Kashmir Immovable Property Act 1997, which was not  implemented in letter and spirit deliberately. Thousands kanals of lands of migrants is  illegally encorached, grabbed and occupied by Land Mafia that is active in Valley with key  support of Custodians of Migrant Act which is still a matter of worry for this community.

The displaced  community is still living out side kashmir valley in  camps and non camps in Jammu and other parts of the country in a  pathetic and deplorable conditions though  despite passing thirty four years of exile in  a lot of  pain and agony,  no politician or Political party has ever talked about their rehabilitation  back in valley with honour and dignity sincerely and  seriously because they never realized their pain and pathetic conditions for their deviated mindset. All politicians of Jammu and Kashmir including key regional parties never  held any  protest or any debate for this micro minority community at any platform to atleast restore back true kashmiriyat. These psedudo secular  Politicians  some times when asked by print and elelctonic Media and  Press Reporters about the Rehabilitation of Kashmir Pandits back in valley, they cleverly say  that  kashmir is incomplete without kashmiri Pandits and they should come back to their natives places but they fully know that it is the most difficult and impossible for them to return to their native places as their lands, shrines orchards temples etc  where  they existed  in ,1989 and 1990  are all illegally encroached and occupied by anti social elements and land Mafia including some well known politician and Beaurocrats.

They just say Kashmir is incomplete without out Kashmiri Pandits in order to save their skin infront of Press and Electronic Media  to pretend themselves to be  the most secular and democratic leaders in India. No politician  or any Government at the helm of affairs ever  bothered to think about the  formulation of a  concrete Rehabitation  Policy for 5 lakh Kashmiri Pandits for their rehabilitation  back in Valley with honour and dignity keeping in view all the security parameters which is   very unfortunate and it added the  miseries and worries to this poor and helpless community.

These leaders instead of talking or thinking seriously about Kashmiri pandits and their plight in exile are busy in pressing hard and  advocating  for holding talks with bankrupt Pakistan as if Pakistan is their  maternal side and they  know it fully that Pakistan can give them nothing but can  only supply them terrorists for bloodshed  for destruction and devastation. They never compared the development of this Part of Jammu and Kashmir with POK where the conditions of people is deplorable and pathetic.

These politicians could have played a big key role by taking on boat civil society of majority community,  prominent Kashmiri Pandit leaders for making a tangible road map   in these thirty four years for creating a condusive atmosphere for return and Rehabitation of Kashmir Pandits back in Valley with honour and dignity but unfortunately they will never do and neither they did it so far. They   honestly never want kashmiri Pandits to get settled back in their ancestral place   again but it is big blot on the entire Kashmiryat and on entire political clause of Jammu and Kashmir who say kashmir is incomplete without out Kashmiri Pandits  a hallow slogan  but practically they have miserably failed for doing any thing practical for this micro minority community till date and neither they now expect any thing miracle from them and the only ray of still exists in this directions is present Central Government who is is competent enough to do all such things with boldness and courage . 

It is pertinent to say that Kashmir is and will always remain an integral part of India and no power on earth can snatch or think about its separation from India but yes for doing politics on it, politicians use it for vote bank policy for the time being. They should rather have pressed for formulation of a concrete Rehabitation for kashmiri Pandits back in valley with honour and dignity just to save their kashmirayat and true secuarlim for which they daily come on big National Channels and deliver sermons on Secularism and Kashmiryat just to show to entire world and India that they are most secular and have big concern for Kashmiri Pandits. History will never forgive them if they do nothing for kashmiri Pandits despite passing more than thirty four years.

Ending : 

All the Kashmiri Pandit organisations, social activists, political leaders, intellectuals, academcians and philthropists strong urge and  appeal Government of India and New Government of Jammu and Kashmir to formulate a çoncrete tangible rehabilitation policy in a time bound period by taking all the stake holders of the displaced  community on board for permanent resettlement of Kashmiri Pandits back in Valley with honour and dignity keeping in view in the security parameters at the earliest to end their pathetic exile period of more than thirty fours years as well restore kashmiriyat back to its pristine glory as till date this community feels that it is a distant dream. 

All the Political leaders of Jammu and Kashmir must honestly come forward and press hard for rehabilitation of Kashmiri pandits back in their homes and hearths in valley with big honest and secular heart  otherwise this big blot on the Kashmiryat will haunt future generations for decades to come as Kashmiri is really incomplete without kashmiri Pandits. In the end I would say  it is the bounden duty of all kashmiri Pandit leaders, social activists, intellectuals, heads of social organizations and philanthropists to  come forward voluntarily under one umbrella and press hard for  framing a concrete  rehabilitation Policy for the community in a time manner at Government level  so that this community is resettled back in Valley with honour and dignity. The need of the hour is to get united  as United we stand divided we fall but no doubt the goal is distant but nothing is impossible in this world as the word impossible is found in the dictionary of fools.
