The upper reaches of Rajouri, Poonch, Kishtwar, Doda, udhampur, Kathua, and Ramban experienced snowfall as well.
However, Bhaderwah town in District Doda got a big boost at the fag of the tourist season after high altitude meadows received snowfall on October 15th, 2023 and a large number of tourists started thronging here to enjoy the fresh snowfall on Friday. Tourists from different parts of the country were seen enjoying the white flakes on Bhaderwah Pathankot Highway as on the interstate road, heavy snowfall was reported on the 25-kilometer stretch from Thantera to Chattergalla pass. It has been observed that pilgrims especially visiting the Mata Vaisho Devi pilgrimage are rushing here to enjoy the snowfall.
