Jammu and Kashmir 1990 Vs Now.
Kashmir during 1989-90 :
Jammu and Kashmir also called the crown of India witnessed tremendous bloodshed, turmoil, devastation and loss of precious human lives at the hands of Pakistan sponsored Terrorism and their stoges working here in 1989/90 which continued for decades. There was complete devastation and destruction every where in Jammu and Kashmir particularly in Kashmiri Province due to Pakistan sponsored terrorists and islamic fundamentalists. Thousands of precious human lives were snatched by terrorists and the most victim of this bloodshed became more than five lakh Kashmiri Pandits who not only were selectively targeted but were also made to forcefully leave the Valley leaving behind their ancestral immovable and immovable properties worth crores under a well thought out plan and machinations. The Kashmir region was completely dominated and managed by islamic fundamentalists and Pakistani sponsored terrorists in 1990 and there was rein of terror and fear every where especially among micro minorites who fell the victim to this entire dirty game plan of Pakistan and the then Hurriyat conference.
Therefore this put a big question mark on secular credentials of Kashmir which still continue to be there as more than five lakh Kashmiri Pandits forcefully driven out of the valley from their homes and hearts still live a pathetic life in Jammu and other parts of the in own country as a refugee still with this hope that one day, the Government may perhaps again rehabilitate them back in valley with honour and dignity and resettle them back permanently keeping in view all the security parameters and their demands.
The Kashmir province had become such a big flash point where every one wanted to roast the role and many local politicians were also the part of the problem due to their deep nexus with Hurriyat and Many terrorist organizations. There was no development, peace or progress in any field in the valley as most of the time there were shutdowns, Hartals and stone pelting followed by heavy blood shed and violence everywhere and there was not any sense of security among any person in Jammu and Kashmir but was only confusion, choas and devastation which hampered the progress of Jammu and Kashmir with declination in tourism which was the back bone of Jammu and Kashmir due to this unrest and uncertainty created by Pakistan sponsored militancy and their stoges working on their pay roll here in India to destabilize India on mass scale.
Jammu & Kashmir Now :
History is witness in the world that only those regions or places will lead on the path of progress, development and prosperity where peace completly prevails. Therefore it was a big challenge for Governent of India to establish complete peace, sense of security and winning the trust of people after 5th August 2019, post abrogation of article 370 and 35 A as well to put the entire union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir back on complete lost normalcy like before it was prior to 1989.
The Governent of India worked very hard in last more than ten years in Jammu and Kashmir for resorting complete peace to which they completly succeeded and have put the militancy on the ventilator which is almost gone now. The role of our brave Army, paramiltary forces and all other security agencies have done a wonderful job in these years for restoring complete peace and tranquility in Jammu and Kashmir by working in close coordination with one other. The militancy is almost on its last leg and would be wiped completely out very soon.
The main role of this entire mission of success goes to present Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha Who not only restored the 37 years lost peace but also imbibed sense of security among every citizen of Jammu and Kashmir irrespective of caste, creed and colour. He remained big instrument in eradicating the there decades old Pakistan sponsored militancy from its deep roots with some bold decisions taken which were executed on the ground that yieled rich dividends.
There is big network of infratrucural development in every sector in Jammu and Kashmir and the most long pending demand of the people of Jammu and Kashmir was to connect Kashmir with rest of the country to which he succeeded with the help of Governent of India and now Kashmiri is fully connected by rail with rest of the country which is surely giving a big boost to the tourism Sector as well reduced the time line between Kashmir with rest of the country.
It is also added here that it used to take people more than seven or eight hours by road to reach Kashmir from Jammu due to tough hilly terrains but due to creation of latest technology based tunneling in the hills, the Governent of India succeeded fully to reduce the time period to four hours to reach Kashmir which is a big achievement and milestone in the history of Jammu and Kashmir as well a big gift to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
There are similarly tremendous develoments in other sectors too that have taken place or in final leg of their completion in Jammu and Kashmir which has created sound employment generation avenues for the local educated youth.
The temples and shrines of Kashmiri Pandits which were either burnt down or damaged during 1990, are now being repaired and renovated as well developed as Heritage sites all across the Kashmir Valley and many temples have already been completed under this project and thrown open for public but still countless are under construction. This has not only reposed full faith of Dispalced minority community in Governent of India but also restored back their lost sense of security. It has also restored back their faith, ethos and ancient civilization.
Conclusion :
In the end it can be firmly said that Jammu and Kashmir has witnessed tremendous landmark and historic develoments in every sector for last more than six years and youth of the Union Territory are also today discharging their assigned role in Nation building ventures. Therefore there is complete peace, progress and development in every sector with proper accountability in Jammu and Kashmir whose entire credit goes to the present dynamic, dedicated and hardworking Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha Who is always on toes on forefront to ensure that development reaches to the last person of the Union Territory. It can be well interpreted like this that " Chay Sal Bemisal". We also witnessed tremendous development in the sectors of education, Healthcare, Tourism, Agriculture, transportstion, better road connectivity by way of creation of countless flyovers, upto to mark Sanitation and hygiene much more.
We expect in future that with more energy and vigour, he continues to discharge his bounden duties and lead this Union Territory to the new heights of peace, progress and prosperity with the rest of the states of India.
