Operation Sindoor, a grand success for India:
Operation Sindoor was launched as a military response to a terrorist attack on innocent tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on 22nd April 2025, in which Pakistani Terrorists brutally killed more than 26 innocent tourists and injured several others. People of india took to streets and strongly protested against this barbaric attack on innocent Tourists in Pahalgam and sought stringent action against the terrorists and their backers sitting across the line of control in Pakistan so that they are brought to justice.
All the political parties, social organizations, intellectuals, academicians and philthropsits of the country besides people in general highly condemned this cowardice attack of Pakistani Terrorists and sought immediate military action on Pakistan with strong possible means. The whole india stood behind the Government of India and pressed for Retaliation by dismantling their terror network and the terrorists who have been bleeding india for last more than three decades.
On the pressing demand of people of the country, operation Sindoor was formulated and executed to target terrorist infrastructure and eliminate multiple threats without crossing the Line of Control or international boundary. Here's why it was launched :

These attacks were part of a retaliatory response to India's "Operation Sindoor," which targeted terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, eliminating over 100 terrorists. Pakistan launched around 350-400 drones into India on the night of May 7-8, with reports suggesting over 600 drones were deployed in total. These drones were mostly Turkish-supplied, including Byker Yiha Kamikaze and Asisguard Songar models. It was initially extended until May 12, further exten d until May 14 2025 and later extended again until May 18th of May 2025 and hope it is extended for a long time now. According to Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, the ceasefire was claimed to be extended until Sunday, although there was no immediate confirmation from the Indian Army on this extension. The agreement aims to reduce alertness levels and prevent aggressive actions along the Line of Control and international boundary.
