India is a vast country that is just over one-third of the size of the United States with vast area in rural & there are some incredible sights to be seen & explored. In the North of India, there are the Himalayas, in the south, beaches, the west, deserts, and the East tribal territory. Tourism has great importance in the Indian economy & Cultural development that promotes National integration. It makes all of us aware of the beauty and rich cultural heritage of our country as well as acquaints us with its beauty & rich cultural heritage. It promotes inter-regional relationship as well encourages cultural pursuits & provides support to local handicrafts as well as help in the development of international understanding. Tourism is considered invincible trade. India’s natural beauty, diversity, and glorious past attract innumerable visitors every year. India has been awarded 4th rank among the best holiday destinations of the world and every year more than 2.6.million foreign tourists visit India for heritage tourism, cultural tourism, adventure tourism, medical tourism & business tourism. Tourism also plays an important role in employment generation avenues in India & more than 15 million people are directly engaged in the tourism Industry and many more are indirectly connected to it.
There is a bright future for the tourism industry in India as it is growing rapidly. There are many beautiful tourist destinations in every Indian State worth visiting & every year millions of foreign and domestic tourists visit these states for leisure and amusement. Today I am coming up with 2 amazing unexplored famous tourist destinations of two States namely Himachal Pradesh and UT of Jammu and Kashmir both situated in the Northern Part of the Republic of India which will be quite informative and fascinating for readers:-
Top 2 Unexplored places of Himachal Pradesh:-
The word Himachal is actually a combination of 2 Sanskrit words “ Hima” & “Anchal” which means “ Snow” & “Lap”. It is also popularly known as Devbhumi - “ Land of the Gods”.It is a beautiful hill State of the Republic of India, situated in the lap of the Himalayas made up of a series of valleys and covered with snow peaks in its Northern part, having many top tourist destinations worth visiting. Every year a huge flock of domestic and international tourists flocks to the various hill stations across the state during the summer season, an ideal time when the area enjoys spectacularly pleasant, climate thunderstorms and Pre-monsoon showers especially in the month of June The prices are relatively higher though it has many of options for the budget traveler as well. It has more than fifty world-famous must see tourist places which are visited by tourists and travelerrs in large numbers.
Today I am coming up with some unexplored extremely delightful tourist places which need to be visited due to their virgin beauty in this State :

1. Kasauli:- A small beautiful hill town located at an altitude of 1,927 m, blessed with lush surroundings in the southwestern part of Himachal in its Solan District that is home to gabled colonial-era houses, orchards, and green-roofed Christ church dating from the mid 19th century
The town is 77 Km away from Shimla, the capital city of Himachal, and about 70 Km from Chandigarh.
Here at the southern edge of the town monkey point overlooks forests of horse chestnut and Himalayan oak. There is also a beautiful temple atop the Hill. Legends say that this place came into existence after Lord Hanuman placed his feet here to order to move ahead to the Sanjeevani Hill and the place where the Lord actually kept his feet is believed to be a hillock that is 300 m high. Historically, it is one of those Hill Stations which was developed by the British Empires during its peak period in India & is one of those places that despite its beauty still has yet to find itself a prominent place on the tourist map. It is a good tourist destination for those who yearn to spend some time alone with their family or even with themselves. There are many small beautiful attractions within and around the town that keep you somewhat busy. Beautiful hotels, restaurants, and guests. houses at normal rates are available for the visitors.
Renuka Ji(Renuka Lake) :
The name of this wonderful & beautiful Lake was named after Goddess Renuka, located in the Simour District of Himachal Pradesh in India and is at an altitude of 672 m above sea level. This lake is regarded as the embodiment of Renuka Ji, the wife of sage Jamadagini and mother of Parshuram, one out of ten Avatars of Lord Vishnu. The circumference of the lake is 3214 m & is considered as the largest lake in Himachal Pradesh. This perfect vacation destination is spread across an area of 2.5 Sq. kilometers that are full of scenic attractions viz; architectural sites exhibiting skill delicate carving of the artists, underground springs, lush green hills covered by alpine forests with a large variety of plant and animal life, boating, fishing, trekking, mountaineering & more over the lake is like a mirror that reflects the image of God in its beauty. State Government has also constructed a Mini zoo at a distance of two kilometers from the lake accessible either by boat or by drive where you can find majestic animals like spotted deer, lion-tailed Macaques, Asiatic lions, Nilgai, barking beer, and Himalayan Black beers, etc. one more important thing about this Lake is that at the base of it, there is large pool considered to embrace Lord Purshoram who wished to spend all eternity at his mother's feet and reportedly built overnight by an invading force of Gurkhas in early 19th century, the original temple of Renukaji is also located here. It is well connected by a road and it is 315 kilometers away from Delhi and from Chandigarh, it is at about 95 kilometers distance. Top 2 Unexplored places in J&K :
It is a union Territory of India popularly known as “ Paradise on Earth”, world-famous for its scenic splendor, snow-capped mountains, dense forests, green meadows, grasslands, water streams, flower gardens, apple farms, unique handicraft hospitable people, and local craft. The UT is located in the Northern part of the country and is a global tourist destination & because of its natural beauty and picturesque locations, it has become a favored destination for tourists across the world. Every year lacs of tourists from all over the world visit here to enjoy the natural beauty of paradise. Kashmir is cool even in the harshest summer and one can visit between March and May to see the blooming flowers, green meadows, and Chinar trees, and the snow-capped trees look awesome while offering a serene feeling to everyone.
Jammu is popularly known as the city of temples, famous for temples and has many famous tourists, heritage and pilgrimage locations & Kashmir is known for its lakes and gardens Besides it there is a vast scope for adventure, pilgrimage, spiritual and health tourism, etc.
The UT has agro-climatic conditions best suited for horticulture and horticulture. There are more than a hundred beautiful tourist destinations in the UT worth seeing and today I am coming up with a few such tourist destinations of Jammu Province that are quite fascinating and worth visiting besides its lot of other wonderful tourist and pilgrimage destinations.
Unexplored Places in J&K :
1. Noori Chamb:- it is a beautiful historical waterfall also known as Milky waterfall in the headwaters of the Poonch River in District Poonch of Jammu & Kashmir union territory of India in Jammu Province. This waterfall has been named after the Mughal queen Noor Jahan. This waterfall is situated between Behramgala and Chandimarh which was one of the major heal thing camps of Mughal Emperor Jehangir & his successors near the hill village of Bahramgala below Pir Panjal pass in Poonch. Emperor Jahangir, a great lover of nature named this waterfall as Noori Aabshar after the name of his queen Noor Jahan that local Pahari dialect became famous as Noori Chamb as Chamb means waterfall.
It is believed that queen Noor Jehan during the halt of their caravan at Parrao use to take bath in drizzling water that made rainbows on fair sunny days and the stony frame in which the mirror was fixed narrates as part of the romantic story of the queen with Emperor Jahangir. Fifty years back the waterfall plunged to 75 ft. which was higher than 100 ft during the Mughal emperor period but at present, it is 2/3rd of its height due to cutting and eroding of the rock. It is forty-five km from Bufliaz. Tourists across the country are seen visiting Noori Chamb in summer every year to enjoy the natural beauty of this hill station.
Hotels and guest houses are not available in this hill station but such provisions are easily available at Poonch & Rajouri Towns for the tourists as night stay is not possible over there due to long hilly terrain & weather conditions The visitors often visit this historical and beautiful scenic location in summers in the day time and come back by the evening before sunset to District Headquarters after enjoying the scenic beauty and waterfall.
2. Ancient BaboreTemple :
Ancient Babore Temple (famous historic tourist location): it is a collection of six temples partially in ruins, within a radius of one kilometer situated on Dhar Road near Manwal in District Udhampur in Jammu Province Jammu and Kashmir. it is 72 Kilometers from Jammu Srinagar road of J&K. The construction of Babore temple dates back to the 10th and 11th centuries. The imposing structure of the temple has immense archaeological importance with rich religious ancestry & five partially ruined temples here are the major attraction for tourists and pilgrims visiting this location from different parts of the country.
The beautiful Temples have ornately carved pictures of God & the carving and sculpting of Statutes of Gods & Goddess have been executed minutely with a lot of detail. Further, the slabs and the beams are also magnificently decorated and carved & on the pillars of the temple, sculptures, and statues of elephants and Lions' heads are chiseled.
The most interesting sculptures nicely carved are Lord Shiva and Parvati in which Shiva is shown crowned and 3-headed. Besides the idol of Goddess Ganga is extremely beautiful of all the delicate statutes & all the ancient temples of Babore have rich and attractive sculptures. It is amazing thing that the whole construction of the temple was completed without using any binding material which has made it unique in itself. Every year many tourists and pilgrims visit this historical tourist location to pay homage to Lord Shiva in the temple and enjoy the natural beauty of this scenic location Transport and hotel facilities are available in the area for the tourists on economic rates.
