Synopsis : 

The unhidden hot Sulphur Spring is commonly known as Tattapani (Hot spring) and a  picnic & tourist spot is situated at the beautiful town of Sangaldhan(in an area of Chenab valley )falling in District Ramban in Jammu Province of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir-India which is about forty Kilometres from District Headquarter Ramban.

Ramban District located in the lap of the Pir Panjal Range of the mighty Himalayas is a beautiful combination of magnificence, tranquility, and a quiet retreat. Meadows, snow-capped Pir Panjal mountains, and the gently rolling Basantadar ridge create a breathtaking panoramic view. The District of Indian Union Territory in Jammu and Kashmir has historical importance. In 1846, much before the formation of J&K, State, there was a small village consisting of 15 Houses on the right bank of the Chenab river called Nashband(later Ramban) when Raja Gulab Singh became the Maharaja of J&K State, he adopted the Jammu-Udhampur-Banihal route to reach Srinagar for the movement of royal caravan and during this process, Ramban got the status of halting station for the royal caravan.

The Dogras constructed a Pacca bridge near the present Ramban and a wooden bridge for the crossing of the Chenab River. The Maharaja passed an order for a cart road from Jammu to Srinagar via Banihal and a suspension bridge over the Chenab River at Ramban this road became the National Highway and now is being converted into a four-lane. Therefore Ramban also developed a lot and has presently  District Status which shares its boundary with Reasi, Udhampur, Doda, Anantnag, and Kulgam  Districts, and its Terrains are tough and hilly with amazing natural scenery.

Nature lovers get drawn to the pristine rustic charm Gool has to offer and besides it, there are other amazing unexplored tourist locations in the District like Bhim Waterfall located in the lush green woods in the scenic District, Dagantop, Ghora Gali, Sansar, etc worth visiting besides this miraculous hot spring destination having spiritual touch.
